I've improved on the previous deviation Anger The nose is aimed in a better direction (though I still think it's a little bit too straight on) the hair is a bit more detailed, the arm is darker (though about the same size) the lines are a bit more realistic and a bit softer. The shadows are a bit softer, too. The hard copy is still on the large side for my scanner, but this is the best I can get. SO, the really bright spots you're seeing aren't really THAT bright (bicep, hair, and chest--chin is normal). I tried to tone it down some in imageready (photoshop died on me.) but any darker and it just gets worse, not better. Anyway, thoughts?
I like it! Remember that sharp contrasts can actually make the drawing more realistic (this is a concept that I have yet to get). Perhaps there could be some shading variation under her extended arm, since most people have a bit of curvature there. I really like your idea here. The emotion is expressed well. I'm glad to see that you are still drawing.
